Background
During a routine flight operation on March 26, 1962, an aviator stationed at Ramstein Air Base witnessed an extraordinary aerial phenomenon lasting several seconds. The craft first appeared at the eight o'clock position relative to the observer's aircraft, displaying bright luminous flashes. While traversing toward the three o'clock position, the entity underwent a morphological transformation from a triangular configuration to a streamlined dart-like profile. The velocity estimate reached twice the speed of sound, with no exhaust or propulsion mechanisms visible to the witness.
