The witness, identified only as Ed, submitted a personal account describing a series of extraordinary events occurring around 1977-78 when he was approximately thirteen years old. Living in a two-story home in Dover Plains, New York, the experience began when he awoke around 11 PM and felt compelled to exit through the back door and climb an enclosed staircase to the second-story landing.
Looking out the open window, Ed observed a large disk-shaped craft hovering several hundred yards above the house. A blue light emanated from the center of the object, making him leave through the window and rise toward the craft. He reported feeling no fear regarding the abduction itself, only concerning the height involved.
