Ed (Witness)

Ed Walters, known as 'Ed (Witness)' or 'Mr. Ed,' is an American contractor from Gulf Breeze, Florida, central to the 1987-1988 UFO incident. On November 11, 1987, he claimed to be immobilized by a blue beam and captured five Polaroid photos of a hovering UFO 200 feet above his home, describing it as 'right out of a Spielberg movie.' He reported 32 subsequent photos, videotapes, and encounters including aliens landing, telepathic communication in English and Spanish, and being lifted by a beam. Walters shared photos with the Gulf Breeze Sentinel under aliases, passing a 1988 polygraph where the examiner concluded he believed them real. Controversy arose in 1988 when a UFO model was found in his attic after moving, which he denied knowledge of, blaming debunkers or government.
