Amaranth UFO Case
Background
In 1982, a scientist and cellular biologist observed a small shiny flying craft hovering about one meter above his garden for approximately 20 minutes. On departure, the object shot straight up, causing significant damage to nearby vegetation, particularly desiccating an amaranth bush.

The witness described the object as oval, resembling two coupled metal saucers with a blue-green dome, about one meter in diameter.
It hovered silently for 20 minutes before departing vertically.

GEPAN investigators examined the site and found the effects on vegetation could only have been caused by powerful electromagnetic fields exceeding 200 kV/m.
The damage was particularly notable on the amaranth bush, whose leaves were desiccated.
