The release contained a single Weekly World News article dated November 29, 1994, found within Box 008 of the Charles J. Stahl Collection. Stahl, who served as Chief Armed Forces Medical Examiner until 1996, maintained extensive professional files at the National Museum of Health and Medicine. Among legal case files and pathology reports, this lone tabloid clipping about a supposed UFO connection to an aircraft crash stood out as an anomaly. The reason for its preservation remains unknown, as Stahl passed away in 2016.
