Bigelow Aerospace, founded in 1999 in the United States by billionaire Robert Bigelow, is a civilian aerospace company. Key activities included developing expandable space habitats and, through its subsidiary Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies (BAASS) established around 2008, UFO/UAP research. BAASS secured a $22 million DoD contract via AAWSAP/AATIP (2007-2012), funded by Sen. Harry Reid, to study advanced aerospace threats, UFO sightings, paranormal phenomena at Skinwalker Ranch, and alleged recovered materials. It produced 38 technical reports and a 494-page UFO analysis. Notable achievements: pivotal role in reviving government UAP programs. The company ceased operations in 2020.
