Avril Haines
Avril Haines, born in 1969, is an American intelligence official holding a bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Chicago and a law degree from Georgetown University. She has served in key roles including Deputy Director of the CIA, Principal Deputy National Security Advisor, and since 2021, Director of National Intelligence (DNI). In the UAP/UFO domain, Haines oversaw the 2022 All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) UAP study as DNI. She was responsible for delivering Congress the first annual unclassified UAP report by late 2023, mandated by the 2022 NDAA, covering incidents including the prior 144 cases with most remaining unexplained.
