Background
The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) is a U.S. government organization established in 2022 within the Office of the Secretary of Defense. It succeeded the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (2020-2021) and continues work from earlier Defense Intelligence Agency programs.
