Cabell, Director of Air Force Intelligence, prompting immediate action. Under his leadership, ATIC investigators, including Lt. Col. Rosengarten and others, interrogated radar operators, pilots, and technicians, and briefed Pentagon officials. This occurred amid Project Grudge, transitioning toward Project Blue Book.
