Gordon Williams

Gordon Williams was a United States Air Force Wing Commander and General who became a figure in UFO research history through alleged contact with extraterrestrial beings. According to accounts from UFO researchers in the 1980s, Williams was reportedly present at Bentwaters Air Force Base near London, England, where he allegedly had direct contact with small alien entities. The incident became part of UFO lore when researcher John Lear cited conversations with USAF personnel about the alleged landing as motivation for his own UFO investigations beginning in 1986. However, skeptical researchers have noted that military witnesses associated with related incidents, such as the Rendlesham Forest case, have largely disputed such contact claims, and there is minimal corroborating evidence for the alleged alien encounter.
