J. H. Kirkpatrick
Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick, born around 1968 in Columbus, Georgia, USA, is a physicist and career intelligence officer. He earned a B.S. in Physics from the University of Georgia in 1991 and a Ph.D. in nonlinear and non-equilibrium phonon dynamics in 1995, serving as an adjunct professor there since 1995. In early 2022, he was appointed director of the Pentagon's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), leading centralized investigations into unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), the official term for UFOs. Kirkpatrick built a science-based team to document, analyze, and resolve UAP reports, deconflicting them with U.S. government activities. He publicly criticized conspiracy theories alleging government cover-ups of alien craft reverse-engineering, noting congressional members ignored AARO invitations. He resigned after 18 months in late 2023, emphasizing scientific rigor over sensationalism. Kirkpatrick co-authored a debated paper on alien motherships and testified before Congress on AARO's mission, oversight, and budget.
