John Grant Fuller, Jr. (1913-1990), an American author and journalist from New England, specialized in nonfiction books on extraterrestrials and the supernatural. He wrote a regular 'Trade Winds' column for Saturday Review. In UAP/UFO research, his key achievements include investigating the 1965 Exeter, New Hampshire UFO sightings, interviewing witnesses, and claiming a personal sighting, detailed in Incident at Exeter (1966). He authored The Interrupted Journey (1966), the first book to document the 1961 Betty and Barney Hill abduction under hypnosis, alleging medical experiments by UFO occupants—a highly influential and debated work in UFO history, later adapted into a TV movie. Aliens in the Skies (1969) compiled transcripts from the 1968 Congressional UFO hearings featuring experts like J. Allen Hynek and Carl Sagan.
