John McCain

John McCain (1936-2018) was an American politician and U.S. Senator from Arizona who played a significant role in UAP/UFO research oversight. As Chairman of the Senate Committee on Armed Services, McCain received correspondence regarding the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), a Department of Defense initiative that investigated unidentified aerial phenomena and funded research into exotic aerospace concepts. McCain was instrumental in bringing attention to the Rendlesham Forest incident of 1980, assisting retired USAF Tech Sergeant John Burroughs in efforts to access classified medical records related to alleged UAP radiation exposure.
