Kleber Caldas Marinho
Kleber Caldas Marinho is a Brazilian Air Force pilot, known as Lieutenant Aviator Kleber Marinho during the notable 1986 Brazilian UFO incident on May 19. From Santa Cruz Air Base in Rio de Janeiro, he piloted an F-5E fighter jet scrambled at 10:34 pm to intercept unidentified spherical objects detected on radar over São José dos Campos. Marinho closed in on the target, which stopped advancing and climbed; he pursued to about 30,000 feet using radar and visual contact until losing radar lock. He activated afterburners to reach supersonic speed but the object vanished suddenly. His testimony contributes key military eyewitness evidence to UAP research, highlighting advanced maneuvers beyond known technology, as noted by researcher Ademar José Gevaerd.
