Lucile Holt
Lucile Holt (also spelled Lucille), an American from Pickett County, Tennessee, was the daughter of Reverend Turner Hamilton Holt, a Doctor of Theology, minister at Shenandoah Christian Church in Greenwich, Ohio, and cousin to U.S. Secretary of State Cordell Hull. In the late 1930s, likely 1939, her father confided in her as a teenager about viewing four small humanoid creatures, under four feet tall, preserved in glass jars in a Washington, D.C. government basement, alongside disassembled silver metallic vehicle debris. Holt relayed this account in a 1999 letter to the Center for UFO Studies, corroborated independently by her sister Allene. The story suggests pre-WWII U.S. government possession of non-human entities, predating modern UFO discourse. No birth/death dates for Lucile are known; she contributed key second-hand testimony to UAP retrieval lore without publications of her own.
