Patrick Ferryn

Patrick Ferryn is a Belgian UFO researcher, film producer, and founding member of SOBEPS, a respected UFO study group in Belgium featuring scientists like Leon Brenig and August Meessen. He played a key role in investigating the 1989-1990 Belgian UFO wave, including the evaluation of alleged UFO photos and videos. During the night of March 31 to April 1, 1990, Ferryn, alongside Lucien Clerebaut and José Fernandez, conducted visual and photographic observations at Ramillies after interviewing gendarme Renkin, who triggered F-16 scrambles. He captured images of a yellowish light source that revealed a large curved front side upon closer inspection, distinct from conventional aircraft. Ferryn has appeared as a Belgian UFO expert on the History Channel's 'Secret Access: UFOs on the Record,' based on Leslie Kean's work.
