Paul Kelly

Paul Kelly served as the duty air traffic controller at Jersey ATC during the April 23, 2007 Channel Islands UFO sighting. He was responsible for monitoring airspace during the event and handled communications with pilots in the area. Kelly was in direct communication with Captain Ray Bowyer of Aurigny Flight 544, confirming primary radar contacts south of Alderney and observing a solitary primary contact in the described area.

Kelly informed Bowyer about independent corroboration from another pilot. He noted that Captain Patrick Patterson described a matching sighting while flying from the opposite direction, and both pilots placed the object at the same altitude and location.
