Robert M. Collins
Robert M. Collins, born in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, son of an Episcopal priest, is a former U.S. Air Force Intelligence Officer who served 22 years, including as Chief Analyst in theoretical physics at the Foreign Technology Division (FTD, now NASIC) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. He earned an Air Force Achievement Award and Commendation Medal, with expertise in aircraft avionics, ground communications, engineering physics (electro-optics, plasma, nuclear physics). His UFO involvement began in 1985 at FTD, introduced by retired Lt. Col. Ernie Kellerstrauss, leading to ongoing research on government cover-ups spanning over 60 years. Key achievements include authoring 'The Black World of UFOs: Exempt from Disclosure,' detailing UFO crashes, body recoveries, reverse-engineering challenges at Los Alamos (propulsion, materials), DIA documents, Crystal Rectangle incidents on Space Shuttle/ISS, and collaborations with Richard C. Doty. Post-retirement, he pursued UFOs full-time, appeared in media like SciFi Channel and History Channel, and provided testimony on Wright-Patterson's ufology role.
