Rony Vernet

Rony Vernet is a Brazilian electronic and computer engineer who serves as a researcher at the Brazilian Center for Research in Physics, specializing in experimental physics applied to high energy physics and artificial intelligence. He has worked as a public servant in the energy sector for over 10 years, during which he led a department implementing new technologies for logistics in oil, derivatives, and biofuels.

Vernet became actively involved in UAP research in 2018, conducting field investigations in the Serra da Beleza region of Rio de Janeiro. In 2020, he obtained the release of over 100 pages of Brazilian government documents and 20 minutes of video footage regarding alleged UFO attacks on indigenous people in Acre, Brazilian Amazon. He founded the UAP Brazil Group and has conducted extensive field investigations, including into an alleged UFO crash in Magé.

Vernet has testified at significant hearings on anomalous phenomena, appearing at Brazilian Senate hearings on anomalous phenomena in 2022 and at the Mexican House of Representatives in 2023.
