Stan Awbery

Stan Awbery was a British Member of Parliament who took an active interest in unidentified flying object (UFO) investigations during the 1950s. In 1956-1957, Awbery submitted parliamentary inquiries to the Secretary of State for Air regarding official UFO investigations, photographs, and reports. His questions reflected growing parliamentary concern about the Ministry of Defence's handling of UFO sightings and the extent of official record-keeping on the phenomenon.
