Willard F. McIntyre
Willard F. McIntyre was an American ufologist who founded the Mutual Anomaly Research Center and Evaluation Network (MARCEN), also known as the Maryland Center for Investigation of Unconventional Phenomena, in Sandy Spring, Maryland, during the 1970s alongside Arthur F. Rosen. The group investigated UFOs, Bigfoot, monsters, and other anomalies, issuing the publication Believe It!. McIntyre became notorious for promoting numerous hoaxes, including the alleged 1955 Brighton UFO crash with four alien bodies, the Laredo crash, 'Tomato Man,' and the Steinman affair. Saucer Smear (June 25, 2001) highlighted his unfounded claim about NIDS receiving a 'vision' of free energy at Skinwalker Ranch, noting his unfamiliarity with the project. No birth/death dates or military/government ties are documented; his work is widely regarded as unreliable in ufology.
