Leonard Stringfield

American UFO researcher (1920-1994) who became the foremost collector of UFO crash retrieval reports. A WWII veteran who had his own UFO sighting during the war. Founded Civilian Research, Interplanetary Flying Objects (CRIFO) in 1953. From 1978, presented a series of 'Status Reports' at MUFON symposia documenting dozens of alleged crash retrieval cases with military and intelligence sources. His work pioneered the study of UFO crash/retrieval claims.
