Pedro Saucedo
Pedro Saucedo, a farmhand of Mexican immigrant background, was one of the primary witnesses in the 1957 Levelland UFO case, one of the most significant multi-witness UFO incidents in U.S. history. On November 2, 1957, while driving four miles west of Levelland, Texas, with Joe Salaz, Saucedo reported seeing a blue flash of light near the road. Their truck's engine stalled as a rocket-shaped object rose, approached the vehicle with a loud sound and rush of wind, passing directly overhead. Saucedo jumped out in fear, later calling Levelland police to report the encounter. He was interviewed by Air Force Project Blue Book investigators, who deemed his account unreliable due to his limited education and inconsistent details, attributing sightings to ball lightning amid stormy weather.
