Robert Jamison

Robert Jamison is a retired U.S. Air Force officer who served as a targeting officer at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana during the 1967 nuclear missile shutdown incidents. He was present when multiple Minuteman I ICBMs experienced unexplained failures coinciding with reported UAP activity over the missile field, and as a targeting officer, he possessed direct professional knowledge of the missile systems and their failure modes.

Jamison has provided testimony corroborating the accounts of Robert Salas and Fred Meiwald regarding the Oscar and Echo Flight shutdowns in March 1967. His role afforded him technical credibility to assert that the simultaneous shutdowns had no conventional explanation, and he corroborated reports of unexplained UAP activity linked to the missile failures. Through his direct knowledge of missile systems, Jamison confirmed that no conventional cause existed for the shutdowns, lending technical credibility to the events through his expertise and supporting the accounts from Salas and Meiwald on the Oscar and Echo Flight incidents.
