Thomas Zurbuchen
Thomas Hansueli Zurbuchen (born 1968) is a Swiss-American astrophysicist with no documented involvement in UAP/UFO research, military or government UFO programs. He earned his PhD in physics from the University of Bern in 1996, focusing on turbulence in the interplanetary medium. Zurbuchen served as NASA's Associate Administrator for the Science Mission Directorate from 2016 to 2022, the longest tenure in that role, overseeing 37 mission launches including James Webb Space Telescope, Perseverance rover, Ingenuity helicopter, DART, and Parker Solar Probe. Previously a professor at the University of Michigan, he contributed to instruments on MESSENGER, WIND, and Ulysses missions, authoring over 200 peer-reviewed papers on solar and heliospheric physics. Since 2023, he is director of the ETH Zürich Space Center. Awards include NASA Distinguished Service Medal and Presidential Rank Award. No UAP-related publications or testimony found.
