Alexania Farm Brazil: Retired General and Eight Professionals Encounter UAP Over Ten Months
On 22 July 1968, retired Brazilian Army General Alfredo Moacyr Uchoa — former deputy director of the Brazilian Military Academy and professor of mathematics and engineering mechanics — joined a group of eight active military, academic, and business professionals at a farm near Alexania, southwest of Brasilia. The group witnessed an intense bluish-white light maneuvering directly in front of them at close range.
The initial encounter proved so compelling that Uchoa and associates returned to the farm sixty to one hundred times over the following ten months. On multiple occasions they approached within fifteen meters of the craft, which Uchoa described as definitively an occupied vehicle. The encounters were documented in Uchoa's book Parapsicologia e Discos Voadores: O Caso Alexania, in which he identified every witness by name — all of whom verified the accounts.
The case became directly relevant to the AAWSAP program through Uchoa's son, General Paulo Roberto de Miranda Uchoa, who served as National Secretary for Drug Policy and collaborated with BAASS investigators during their Brazil field mission in May-June 2009.
