Background

On May 27, 2021, documentary producer Jeremy Corbell distributed sensor footage captured aboard a Navy vessel in 2019. The imagery displays radar contacts tracked by intelligence specialists during a series of unexplained incidents off the California coast.

The material shows several unidentified traces vanishing from monitors, corroborating visual sightings from the same period. At one point, the system displayed more than a dozen mystery contacts simultaneously.

Pentagon official Susan Gough authenticated the leak within several hours, acknowledging it originated from military personnel and forms part of the UAPTF's active caseload. She clarified that unlike three prior authorized releases, this disclosure was unauthorized.
