Background
On the night of February 15, 2023, the USS Jackson, an Independence-class warship, detected four pill-shaped (Tic-Tac) objects emerging from the ocean in Warning Area W-291 off the California coast between San Clemente Island and San Diego. These transmedium objects transitioned from water to flight and exhibited unusual synchronized behavior.
The Incident
The Combat Information Center crew observed lights rising from the water. Four objects were tracked on radar, with two visible via thermal imaging moving north to south.
Key Observations
- All four objects disappeared simultaneously from radar in perfect synchronization.
- Thermal/infrared footage showed objects lacking conventional aerodynamic features — no wings, engines, rudders, propulsion, or exhaust trails.
Disclosure
The video was released by journalists George Knapp and Jeremy Corbell via their Weaponized Podcast.
Location Significance
The incident occurred in the same region as the 2004 USS Nimitz Tic Tac encounter.
