aviation
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is the UK's aviation regulatory body, equivalent to the US FAA. Unlike its American counterpart, the CAA investigated the 2007 Channel Islands UFO sighting after Captain Ray Bowyer filed an official report. The CAA forwarded the report to the Ministry of Defence and Jersey Air Traffic Control.
