The Centro Italiano Studi Ufologici (CISU) was founded in 1985 and is Italy's premier UFO research organization. Led by figures including Edoardo Russo, CISU maintains one of the most comprehensive national UFO databases in Europe, publishes the journal UFO — Rivista di informazione ufologica, and applies critical analytical methodology to case investigations.
