National Security Council
The National Security Council (NSC) is a United States government body founded in 1947 by the National Security Act, serving as the principal forum for advising the President on national security and foreign policy matters. Operating within the Executive Office of the President, it coordinates among federal agencies on defense, intelligence, and security issues. In the context of UAP/UFO research, the NSC has no dedicated programs or direct involvement documented in public records; UAP efforts are managed by entities like AARO (est. 2022 under DoD), UAPTF (2017-2022), AATIP (2007-2012), NASA studies (2022-2023), and ODNI reports (2021). Congressional oversight via NDAA and IAA addresses UAP transparency, but NSC's role remains advisory at best. Currently active, focusing on broader national security without notable UAP achievements.
