Benton Jamison

Benton Jamison is a UFO researcher active in the 1980s, known for investigating cases linked to U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) at Kirtland AFB. In 1985, he located and interviewed Craig Weitzel, who confirmed witnessing a UFO in 1980 near the base and reporting it to AFOSI personnel, amid controversies involving Paul Bennewitz and alleged hoaxes by agent Richard Doty. Jamison contributed to the International UFO Reporter (IUR), including analysis related to the Rendlesham Forest incident. His work focused on government UFO programs, cattle mutilations, and military sightings in New Mexico.
