Betty Cash
Betty Cash (1929-1998) was a Texas businesswoman who became known for her involvement in one of the most significant UAP cases involving physical harm to witnesses. On December 29, 1980, Cash, along with Vickie Landrum and Vickie's grandson Colby Landrum, experienced a close encounter with a diamond-shaped UAP near Huffman, Texas. The object emitted intense heat that caused immediate physical discomfort, and all three witnesses subsequently suffered severe health effects consistent with radiation exposure. Cash, who had the most direct exposure, was hospitalized multiple times and experienced symptoms including burns, hair loss, nausea, and immune system damage.
The Cash-Landrum case is notable for its well-documented physical injuries and the witnesses' unsuccessful lawsuit against the U.S. government. The case remains one of the most significant UAP incidents on record due to the tangible, documented harm experienced by the witnesses.
