Colby Landrum

Colby Landrum (born circa 1973) is an American UFO witness known for his involvement in the Cash-Landrum incident on December 29, 1980, near Dayton, Texas. Then seven years old, he was riding with grandmother Vickie Landrum and Betty Cash when they encountered a diamond-shaped UFO emitting intense heat and flames, surrounded by 23 helicopters. All three suffered severe symptoms resembling radiation poisoning, including nausea, burns, and long-term health issues; Colby experienced vomiting, diarrhea, and weakness. The case, investigated by MUFON's John Schuessler and others, led to a failed $20 million lawsuit against the U.S. government in 1986. Colby provided testimony and appeared on UFO Hunters in 2009 discussing the event. Vickie died in 2007; Betty in 1998. He continues seeking answers.
