Col. George Weinbrenner
Colonel George Weinbrenner was a decorated U.S. Air Force officer who served as Chief of the Foreign Technology Division (FTD) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base during the 1960s and 1970s. He was responsible for analyzing captured Soviet and enemy aircraft, missiles, and advanced technologies. Weinbrenner helped lead the Air Materiel Command's intelligence operations and retired as Commander of Brooks Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. He became notable in UFO research circles through filmmaker Bob Emenegger's 1973 account of discussing advanced research projects at Norton Air Force Base. Near the end of his life, Weinbrenner reportedly confirmed to a caretaker that extraterrestrials were real and stated that the U.S. government possessed five alien bodies stored in Utah. He appeared as an interviewee in the 1974 documentary 'UFOs: Past, Present, and Future.'
