Edward B. Giller (born circa 1919) is an American retired U.S. Air Force general and chemical engineer (University of Illinois: BA 1940, MA 1948, PhD 1950). A WWII combat pilot commanding the 343rd Fighter Squadron, he logged 115 missions, downed three German aircraft, and was wounded. In 1966, as brigadier general, he coordinated the Air Force-University of Colorado UFO study (Condon Committee), serving as contract monitor with Dr. Thomas Ratchford. The 1968 Condon Report found no extraterrestrial evidence, leading to Project Blue Book's termination in 1969. Giller liaised with CIA's NPIC for UFO photo analysis. Later, he directed the Atomic Energy Commission's Division of Military Application, overseeing nuclear tests, and contributed to arms control.
