Estelle Parsons (born November 20, 1927) is an American actress with a tangential connection to UAP/UFO research through her role as Betty Hill in the 1975 made-for-television film The UFO Incident. The movie dramatizes the alleged 1961 alien abduction of Betty and Barney Hill, a landmark case in UFO history involving hypnosis sessions that revealed encounters with extraterrestrial beings. Starring opposite James Earl Jones as Barney Hill, Parsons portrayed the social worker who continued UFO research after her husband's 1969 death until her own in 2004. The film, based on John G. Fuller's book The Interrupted Journey, references U.S. Air Force's Project Blue Book and remains a notable depiction of early abduction claims. No evidence exists of Parsons' direct involvement in UAP research, military programs, or publications.
