Mathew Bevan
Mathew Bevan (born 10 June 1974) is a British hacker from Cardiff, Wales. Motivated by UFO conspiracy theories, he hacked into secure U.S. military networks in the mid-1990s under the handle 'Kuji' using an Amiga computer and Roxbox blueboxing software. At age 21, he accessed Griffiss Air Force Base Research Laboratory files in New York and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base systems, seeking evidence of UFOs, anti-gravity propulsion, and government cover-ups like Roswell. With partner Richard Pryce ('Datastream Cowboy'), their intrusions into USAF, NASA, NATO, and Korean research facilities nearly sparked international conflict, as U.S. Senate labeled him a foreign agent. Arrested 21 June 1996, charged with unauthorized access to USAF and Lockheed systems, Bevan was acquitted. Air Force agent Jim Christy noted they 'nearly started a third world war.' No formal UAP research role or publications; his hacks aimed to expose alleged secrets.
