Richard Pryce
Richard Pryce, also known as Datastream Cowboy, is a British hacker born around 1978. At age 16 in 1994, he conducted unauthorized intrusions into U.S. military systems, including the Pentagon, Rome Laboratory at Griffiss Air Force Base, NASA, and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, motivated by a desire to uncover UFO-related files and prove conspiracy theories. Partnered with Mathew Bevan (Kuji), Pryce accessed a South Korean Atomic Research Institute database via Rome Laboratory, risking international incident. Arrested in London in April 1994, he was fined £1,200 in 1996; charges against Bevan were dropped. No notable publications or formal testimony emerged from his activities, which highlighted early cyber vulnerabilities in government UFO repositories.
