R. Leo Sprinkle

Ronald Leo Sprinkle (1930-), American psychologist born August 31, 1930, in Rocky Ford, Colorado, specialized in counseling, hypnosis, and UFO contactee psychology. He earned BA/MA from University of Colorado and PhD from University of Missouri (1961). At University of Wyoming until 1989 retirement, he consulted for the Condon Report (1969), conducted early surveys of NICAP members and abductees/contactees, and pioneered hypnotic regressions in over 500 UFO cases. Founded Rocky Mountain Conference on UFO Investigation (1980s-2000s), published 50+ articles, book Soul Samples (1999) on UFOs/reincarnation, and encyclopedia entries. Self-identified contactee, theorized UFOs foster cosmic consciousness. TV consultant (ABC, NBC).
