Scott V. Chesbrough is a U.S. Navy Captain and 1992 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. His early career included service as communications officer and navigator aboard USS John Young (DD-973) from 1992 to 1996. He led the Naval Warfare Department in ONI's Nimitz Operational Intelligence Center before assuming command of the Kennedy Irregular Warfare Center on June 9, around 2015. In June 2018, Chesbrough became Chief of Staff for the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), following his role as Assistant Deputy Director for ISR Operations, J-32, at the Joint Chiefs of Staff. In the UAP/UFO context, FOIA-released emails from his ONI tenure reveal communications related to unidentified aerial phenomena, highlighting his involvement in naval intelligence during heightened UAP scrutiny post-2017 Pentagon disclosures. No public testimony or publications by Chesbrough are documented.
