Senators Introduce UAP Disclosure Act with Eminent Domain Provisions
In summer 2023, Senate Majority Leader Schumer, Senator Rounds, Rubio, and Gillibrand introduced the UAP Disclosure Act proposing eminent domain over recovered nonhuman technology.
Background
In summer 2023, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Senator Mike Rounds, Senator Rubio, and Senator Gillibrand sponsored the UAP Disclosure Act β the most ambitious UAP legislation yet. The act proposed:
- Eminent domain over recovered nonhuman technology and biological evidence
- A presidential review board for controlled disclosure
- Collection of government UAP documents by the National Archives
Congressman Mike Turner fought against it, killing the review board provision. Schumer publicly criticized the House, stating the deletion meant declassification would be "largely up to the same entities that have blocked and obfuscated their disclosure for decades".
Significance
The most ambitious UAP legislation ever proposed, explicitly acknowledging the existence of recovered nonhuman technology.
