Background

On November 12, 2007, an unprecedented international coalition of former government officials and military officers issued the 'International Declaration to the United States Government' at a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

The declaration was organized by the Coalition for Freedom of Information (CFi), cofounded by journalist Leslie Kean.

Organization and Signatories

It was signed by 22 officials from 11 countries.
