Harold E. 'Hal' Puthoff

Harold E. 'Hal' Puthoff, born in 1936 in the USA, is an American physicist with a PhD from the University of Maryland. He co-founded the CIA/DIA-funded Stargate Project at SRI International in the 1970s, directing research on remote viewing for U.S. military and intelligence agencies. Puthoff served as a Navy officer assigned to the NSA before joining SRI. In UFO/UAP research, he contributed to the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) post-2008, contracted via Senators Reid, Inouye, and Stevens, studying unconventional propulsion, zero-point energy, and materials suggesting non-terrestrial origins.
